We are dropping our rental car off at the Bolzano airport and need to get to the train station from there. Are there taxi ranks outside the airport? Do you need to prearrange a taxi in advance? Thanks.

Mary, I've never travelled through Bolzano Airport, but This Website may answer your questions. There should be Taxi's on hand to meet flights, so that's probably the method I'd use. The website also has a phone number for the local Taxi firm. As you'll have a rental car, I assume you're aware of the usual caveats regarding driving in Italy. Happy travels!
