Transportation from Airport to Palermo

There is a bus every 30 minutes up to quarter past midnight. It has several stops in Palermo. See the airport website at:

"best"? We took a taxi. It was (I think) 35€ for four people and painless.

Another vote for the airport bus. It’s fast and inexpensive. You can check Google to get the map of stops to figure out which one is best for where you’re staying.

There is a train service right at the airport into Palermo. Better than buses.

The Prestía e Comandè ticket counter is located in the arrivals hallway. Once you buy your ticket(s) you exit the airport and turn right, where you’ll find the bus or an agent who will tell you when the next bus will arrive.

If you’ll be jet lagged, you may want to have your hotel arrange a private transfer.

Granted it was more than a couple years ago, but I took the train and regretted not taking the bus, which would have been faster.
