My sister and I are leaving for Italy on April 24, arriving at Florence Airport at 2:25 pm, and then traveling to Pisa where we're staying. Couple of questions. It appears the easiest way to get from Florence Airport to Pisa is the Flibco bus. How far is the walk from the terminal to the T2 Guidoni tram stop where you can get the bus? Our plane arrives at 2:25 pm. The next bus that makes sense is at 4:20 pm. I assume that will be plenty of time to get luggage, go through customs, and get to T2 Guidoni for the bus. Could you confirm? Do you recomend buying tickets in advance? I understand that if we miss the connection, we can use the ticket on the next bus that has space. Is there anything else we should know? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
I see that Flibco goes to the Pisa Airport not to the city. Is that where you need to go? From Pisa Airport then you would need the People Mover (PisaMover) to the Central Station and that is extra money (€5 pp) and time (5-10 min plus waiting times).
I have no direct experience but T2 guidoni is the next light rail tramway station after the airport, so it’s a 2 min ride. Adding the 5 min walk from the terminal to the airport station, and a potential wait for the next tramway, I think 15-20 min after exiting the airport terminal is sufficient.
Alternatively you could also take the train, if timing with the bus doesn’t work for you, given that there is only a bus every couple of hours. The T2 can take you to the central Santa Maria Novella Station in 20 min. There are trains to Pisa every 15-20 min on average, taking from 50 to 80 min (depending on train) to Pisa Central station. No need to purchase train tickets in advance, just buy them at the station or also via Trenitalia App.

Thanks for the response. We do want to go to Pisa Centrale. I did not realize that the T2 tram went directly to the airport, so thought the bus would be the best option since our hotel in Pisa runs a shuttle from Pisa airport. I will explore the train.
