I am looking to travel to Amalfi, Positano and Revello. Is this doable with the local Sitka buses or would a hop on hop off bus tour work. Another consideration is the Rick Steves mondo tour. Any recommendations for other tours along this coast. Your opinion on the best way to travel to the Amalfi coast would be appreciated.

type in amalfi, and search, this brings up every route (in pdf) with amalfi, can do the same for ravello, positano as well

Depending on what time of year you are going I would take the boat from Positano to Amalfi. The views from the water are spectacular. From Amalfi you can take the open air City Sightseeing bus up to Ravello. To avoid motion sickness, on the curvy mountainous roads on the Amalfi Coast I prefer taking the Travelmar boats as much as possible.

We used Monetti Taxi, which is mentioned in the RS guidebook, they were was wonderful. We hired them for a full day and we were very pleased. We also made arrangements for them to take us a few other places while we were there and we couldn't have been happier.
