We plan to take the ferry to Naples tomorrow, arriving around 8.30am. We would like to spend a couple hours at the Archaeological museum before catching our train to florence at 11.50am. The port seems to be about 5km from the museum, whats the best way to get there? Taxi? Bus to train station then metro? Any help would be great.

We had a nice walk from the ferry to the museum but you won't have time for that. I wonder what time the museum opens though and you'll have to check your luggage. The museum is great and after we took a nasty cigarette infused over priced taxi ride back to the pier. I don't know how far the museum is to the train station and you'll need some time to find your platform. Good luck
