Does anyone know if there is a discount card or better yet some sort of all inclusive pass for all the lifts, buses, and gondolas in the Val Gardena region? We're be spending a week in Kastelruth with various hikes both on the Seiser Alm as well as in Val Gardena and up to Sella Pass and the way its looking, almost all of them are going to necessitate some sort of transportation up a mountain.

Used it last year and it made getting to various trail heads for hiking very easy. It was all inclusive for lifts, gondolas and buses, although I think the buses were an add-on..

The two passes mentioned above are essential and a good value: one for buses and one for lifts. The V.G. card does not cover EVERY lift but it does cover 12 major ones. You hotel or B&B may issue the Mobility card for buses (ours did).
There is also an alternative points system where you buy, say, 1400 points to share and each time your ride a lift, points are deducted from the card. It is the only option for non-skiers in winter, and from what I read on a poster at the TI, it also covers more lifts. Stop at the TI first thing and have them explain the options.
