We will be travelling to Italy soon (Tuscany) and need some translation for restaurants.
(because my wife has some allergies and food issues)

Not spicy -
Little Spicy -
I prefer italian speaker then google tanslate so it can be 100% right!

You might try Google Translate app or website. Or get Rick’s handy, dandy Italian phrase book. It has extended section on dining and food and dietary terms. They just issued the latest edition.
It would be useful to know complete context. Do you want to say “I am allergic to dairy” for example? Or “I do not like spicy food”? If you lost the phrases you want to say (or write on a card) we can be Moreno precise.
I agree you should still have a phrase book and a translation app as you may not anticipate every eventuality.

Sensitivity to cow dairy products:
“intolleranza ai latticini di mucca”
- actually it’s a translation for intolerance, as this is a more common word in Italy when referring to food issues.
Or, if you are allergic:
“allergia ai latticini”
latticini is dairy products, mucca is cow.
Goat cheese: formaggio di capra
Vegetarian meal: pasto vegetariano
Vegetarian lunch: pranzo vegetariano
Vegetarian dinner: cena vegetariana
Chicken: pollo
Beef: manzo
No pork: no maiale
Not spicy:
“non speziato” or maybe better
“senza spezie” - (as in without pepper/origano/other spices) or you could say “non piccante” if you mean “not hot”, for example without chili pepper;
Not too spicy:
“poco speziato” which means “not too spicy” as in not too much pepper/origano...
or
“poco piccante” which means not too hot as in not too much chili pepper in it.
Double check with the waiter if he has understood - if you are in Tuscany then waiters probably can speak English.
If by spicy you mean ‘hot’ then the word you need to know is PICCANTE.
NON PICCANTE (not hot at all)
POCO PICCANTE (not too hot or mild)
SPEZIATO is not very used in Tuscany.
There are two similar expressions in Italian: “un poco speziato” and “poco speziato” and depending on the context and how clearly you pronounce your Italian, the waiter might interpret them a bit differently. So maybe in this case you might want to write them down.
Poco speziato = just a little spicy
or you could also say:
Non troppo speziato = literally “not too spicy”
Keep in mind the differences between “speziato” and “piccante” that I wrote about in the previous post.
