I'm exploring Puglia this fall and would rather rely on buses &/or trains than rent a car. Can you please advise me about getting around in that area, specifically from Bari to Conversano, via bus &/or train. If I HAVE to rent a car, is it cheaper to pick up at the Bari Internatl Airport or in town? Grazie mille! Betty

Conversano is served by the regional Ferrovie del Sud Est. See train and bus schedules at http://www.fseonline.it/.

Thanks for your prompt reply. It isn't clear to me if I have to catch the train/bus IN Bari or is it possible to catch it directly at the airport?
