Transferability

I understand a ticket in Rome for the Metro is also good for a bus, but what about the local trains? I am taking the local train -- Ferrovie Regional -- FR1 from the airport to Trastevere, then transferring to the FM3 to the Saint Pietro station. Does my ticket for the FR1 transfer to the FM3?

Don't think so, Gary. Good for the bus and metro, only, as far as I can remember. The regional trains require their own tickets, bought easily at vending machines (using credit cards) or at the ticket window.
