Transfer time between Siena and La Spezia

And then changing trains to Monterosso

How large is the station in Empoli? There is just 10 minutes to change trains there. Is this feasible?

I can go from Siena to Monterosso but there are two changes that way,.

With ten minutes in Empoli you can tour the entire facility and still make your train. Seriously, it is a small station, you will have no problem.
