I would be grateful for a recommendation. for a reputable company (shared if possible) that could provide a transfer for two people from the cruise port in Civitavecchia to the Rome airport.

Within Rome itself, we've used a car service named "Rome Cabs" a number of times. Despite the name, it is not a taxi company. It is a private car service. I consider them reputable as we've always had good experiences with them. I don't think I've ever seen a bad review of them. The cost will be expensive, but if there are three or four in your party to split the cost, it shouldn't be too bad. Send them an email outling your needs, and you should get a reply within 24 hours.

Follow up question about Rome Cabs--did you book with them directly or use a third party to book with them. On their website it says they are all booked up for the June dates I need, but I see I can book with them through TripAdvisor. Unsure if this is a legitimate way to book?

We send them an email directly outlining our needs and always hear back from them within 24 hours. Have never used a third party booking site for reserving service. If all else fails, most cruise lines offer a shuttle service of some type to the airport.
