transfer from Rome hotel to Civitavecchia port

I am traveling with kids and seniors (with 3 large luggages) on a cruise but I need to figure out how to get from a Rome hotel to Civitavecchia port to get on the cruise, then when the cruise ends, I need to get back to a Rome hotel. Any suggestions?

Go to www.romashuttle.com. You can book online. They have all sizes of vehicles. I used them for airport transfers last week, 55 euro for 4. My sister used them exactly like you last month for a group of 7, 140 euro each way. We found them reliable, courteous and the rate reasonable.

Civit... is some distance from Rome - about an hour train ride and at least that long via a vehicle. The cost from the airport to Rome is not a good comparison. The recommendation for Rome shuttle is the best bet it could be done more economical by train but the amount of luggage and number of people would make it more complicated. Be sure to clear book your return in advance. When the cruise ship docks that is complete madness at the port entrance especially if more than one ship is docked.
