Transfer at Orte Train Station

I am traveling on train from Terontola-Cortona train station to Rome. The ticket I purchased with the most convenient times has a transfer in Orte. Has anyone done this transfer, and is there anything I should be mindful of?

Thank you in advance for any insights.

No. Get off the train, check on the displays the track (binario) number where your next train departs from, then go to that platform. The next train might even arrive and depart from the same platform where you get off. Which train are you taking?

Tiny train station that I've been to many times since near where my family lives. You should have no problems.

If you have the Trenitalia app it might tell you the track of the incoming train before you even get off your arriving train. You should also be able to track the progress of the incoming train.

Most small town train stations like Orte are just a couple of tracks. If you need to switch tracks just go down the stairs, cross under and then walk up to the other track. A couple of minutes maximum.

Have a great trip,

Orte has a station side track and a track on each side of 2 island platforms, so 5 tracks all together. The station and island platforms are all connected by an underground passageway.

If you tell me the train numbers I can tell you the scheduled track of the arriving train from Terontola and the scheduled track of the departing train to Rome
