Tran Ravenna to Rome

Ravenna to Rome w Connection on Bologna; Is a 30 min connection time (for a family of 4 timers) in Bologna enough when connecting from a Regional train (Ravenna to Bologna) to a Frecciarossa (Bologna to Roma Termini)? Are the regional trains on time?

perhaps i should buy the combined route for a later departing Frecciarossa train (Bologna to Roma Termini) and then arrive at the Ravenna station early and change my check in to an earlier train to give us 1.5 hrs layover in Bologna (instead of 30 min)?

30 minutes should be enough but remember that at Bologna C. you may need 10 minutes just to walk from the ground tracks (to/from all destinations) to the underground tracks (Milan-Bologna-Firenze- Rome line).
