The Tramvia is scheduled to begin operation Sunday at 6:30 AM. There will be more bus stop and route changes, vehicle traffic changes, etc. Just and FYI for anyone planning on traveling that day - and any day after! Would someone explain what the Tramvia Line 1 is? Where does it go?

It is the new above ground Tram - sort of like a train in the street. The first line runs from Scandicci to the train station and will most likely be heavily used by local commuters. Other lines will eventually go to the airport, etc. If you follow the link and go to some of the sites mentioned you can find out more -
