Has any one taken tram 110 in Rome. We are thinking or taking it to get an overview when we arrive.
If you are talking about the 110 open bus they have eliminated a lot of stops and it doesn't get close to a lot of the sites. I would just get a map and walk the city. Donna
As Donna has stated, since late last year, all of the Hop on - Hop Off Buses in Rome dropped from 12-14 stops... to 7-8 stops, thus further limiting their already limited access to the city. You can't see the Spanish Steps, Pantheon, or the Trevi Fountain from a HOHO bus so I'd echo Donna's comments and lay out a walking plan! Utlizing the local bus system - and especially riding the buses in the not-as-crowded middle of the day or later in the evening - can be a great way to the see the city, especially at night!
Thank you both. It sounds like walking or the bus service will work best.
