Trains in Tuscany for smaller towns

After cobbling together train timetables in Tuscany for friends and relatives this post by Mike/Boston needs to be much more accessible.

Thanks Mike

This new article with a schematic of trains in Tuscany can get you started researching:

Also Rick Steves also has a good Florence & Tuscany book. https://store.ricksteves.com/shop/p/florence-guidebook

This one is even better (more complete), from RFI (Rete Ferroviaria Italiana) the wholly State owned company that manages and maintains all rail lines used in Italy by Trenitalia (and Italotreno). Just click on the region you want.
https://www.rfi.it/it/rete/la-rete-oggi/La_rete_oggi_regione_per_regione.html
If you enlarge the map you will see all stations (yellow dot) and if you click on it you can see the name of the station and zoom in.
From the same site you can also find any station you want with all details about each station in the country, including timetable (Orario) and scheduled track number of all trains.

Some private lines are not present in the above, but, for Tuscany, they are included (marked in yellow) in the map below (see slide 4 of 16). Basically the yellow line is the Arezzo-Stia in the Casentino Valley and the Arezzo-Sinalunga, both managed by LFI (La Ferroviaria Italiana)
