Trains from Naples to Venice

We have pre paid business class, the ticket indicates our seat numbers, does this mean we can just broad the train or do we need to do something else. I have heard that we might have to do something else, not sure what that is.

Any information is so appreciate from all of you!

Just get on. You have a ticket with a reservation (because it has a seat number printed). That's all you have to do.

Remember the ticket is only good for one particular trains, at one time, and the ticket should note the train number, date and time, car number, and seat no. If bought on line at discount, then there will be no refund and probably no change.

This type of ticket also does not usually need to even be printed on paper. Just showing it on your phone or knowing the PNR code is enough.

I had this question to. Other trains require validating a ticket, but I don't believe you do on a high speed train with a seat assignment, correct?

Correct. No validation necessary on a high speed train. The ticket is specific to that train and cannot be reused on a later train (unlike a regional train)

Even when travelling on Regional trains, you don't need to validate tickets purchased online. They are valid for 4 hours from the departure of the booked train.

The 4 hours rule for Regionale trains has 2 relevant exceptions: the trains to/from FCO and those running in Liguria, the region where the Cinque Terre villages are located.
