I will be traveling to Italy Dec 18-Jan 7. I am trying to budget..and wondering if it is easier on the wallet to use the train and bus system rather than rent a car. We will be flying into Milan..and traveling to Venice and Florence and a few cities in between. We have traveled previously to Italy and drove throughout the south and central parts of Italy..so driving is not a concern.
