Train - Vernazza to Florence - Mid March

Make sure you are searching to "Firenze" for Florence if you are using the Trenitalia app. Also try searching for La Spezia to Firenze since it is the closest large station and then you will just need to make sure you are in La Spezia by that time from nearby Vernazza.

Which source are you using to find the train schedule? Trenitalia is the primary train operator in Italy (Italotreno being the other one which runs only high speed trains). Use Vernazza and Firenze SM Novella for station names for your search.

As far as I know there are no direct trains between Vernazza and Florence. Most solutions involve 2 changes and some only 1 change.

Thanks so much for the input. I used Trenitalia site. Sounds like good news and I shall wait a week to see if schedule is updated. If not, I’ll sort out how to get to La Spezia, for connections to Firenze! Thx.
