We will be needing a train from Varenna to Como San Giovanni. After looking at the train Italia schedule, there are trains scheduled but they are not available for purchase. We would not be buying online but wonder why they are not listed for purchase.Can anyone help with this ? Thanks!

The Trenitalia site only shows fares up to about a week in advance for regional trains. That's why you're getting a "N/A" message. Enter a date within a few days of today and the fares will appear. There is open seating on regional trains and no reservations are possible. Buy your tickets when you get to Italy.

Thank you for the advice. I followed it and was able to see the purchase price. We will buy in Italy at the station.
