Train travel question

Quick question...I accidently misspelled my wife's first name on her train ticket in Italy. I just transposed to letters. Does anyone think this will be a problem. I've tried to get a hold of Trenitalia with no luck. We're thinking of just letting it ride... Any thoughts would be appreciated!!

NO !!! This is not the US or the TSA. You do not need the permission of the Italian government to travel on the trains as you do from the US govt to fly in the US. So spelling of the name is not terribly important.

Michael, in my experience, the conductor is looking for the confirmation/official ticket identification number, not the name of the person using it. You can just show the ticket on a smart phone, you don't even need the paper copy for a reserved seat ticket.
