This is our first trip to Italy and I'm trying to figure out how to travel from Rome to Naples and then on to Sorrento. We would like to make a side trip to Pompei before heading on to Sorrento, but not sure how to accomplish this. We also need to factor in the fact we will be traveling with our luggage. Is this possible or are we better off just heading directly to Sorrento from Naples and possibly taking a side trip excursion to Pompei from Sorrento.
