Hey folks, we have a family trip to Italy coming up. Anyone heard anything about the rail service between Milan and Zurich cancelled or on delay? Thanks!

What is your travel date? Just checking a few random dates in June and July, I do not see anything. The EC trains run every 2 hours from Milan to Zurich at 10 past the odd hours. These trains still use the panoramic route, so the travel time is 4 hours and 17 minutes.
Rail service going via Brig to Basel is interrupted after June 8, but that is a different rail line than the one you will be using.
Hey Sam, we’ll be there June7. Thanks for the reply. For some reason last night we were finding conflicting info about the Gotthard tunnel being closed and just wasn’t sure.
On June 7, SBB lists direct trains every 2 hours from 7:10 am to 7:10 pm. Looks pretty normal to me. Yes, the Gotthard Base Tunnel is still closed to passenger traffic, but the trains use the older route. It is more scenic anyway.
Hey thanks for you help!
I'm trying to buy a direct ticket from Milano Central to Zurich HB on Sunday September 15 that leaves around 11. I can't find any of these fast, non stop tickets on either Trenitalia or SBB. Is it too early or do they no longer run at that time? thanks for help - kinda panicking here
