Train travel from FCO Rome to Pisa and car rental in Pisa

We are staying in Terricciola, Tuscany in April 2020. We plan to rent a car in Pisa to use all week in Tuscany. Question is what train station do we take from Rome Airport FCO to Pisa and which station in Pisa would that be? Any suggestions for Car Rental company in Pisa? We already have an international drivers license but our first time driving in Italy. We appreciate all suggestions.

From the airport you'll need to make your way to Roma Termini station - there are frequent trains or you can catch a taxi.
From termini there are 3 or 4 trains per hour to Pisa via Florence SMN station. Check https://www.trenitalia.com/ for schedules & prices.
The rental car outlets in Pisa are unfortunately located over at the airport, so from the Pisa Centrale station you'll need to use their "Pisamover" tram to get there - It's pretty cheap and pretty straightforward. Once you disembark at the airport the rental car lot is located a couple of hundred yards down the street. Can use Google maps to get your bearings. The good news is that the entrance to the Pisa-Firenze Superstrada is literally right there. Once on the Superstrada it's about 40 minutes to your destination.
We had good luck booking thru AutoEurope for our own trip last year.

We also use Autopeurope, have a toll free number to call; get zero deductible collision, which covers any damage to the body of the vehicle.

Arrival at FCO the Trenitalia app is handy for ticket purchase after retrieving your luggage; Fiumicino Aeroporto to Pisa Centrale. The length of your flight and ETA is unknown, but going direct to the hotel will take at least 5 hours.

One way to organize a trip like this is to spend the night in the seaside town of Fiumicino and driving up in the AM, about 4 hours.
