Kathy, The method I'd use from Venice to Berchtesgaden would be to travel by train and Bus from Venezia Santa Lucia to Salzburg and then take the Bus to Berchtesgaden. Check bahn.de for the details and times. Hopefully Lee will spot this post, as he was just there and therefore will have the most current information. Happy travels!
