Where do I go at Rome train station to shiw my eticket paperwork for actual ticket or validation
Dawn,
Can you please clarify your question.
What type of ticket did you book?
Where are you traveling to?
If you’ve booked your train tickets online, there’s no need to validate them prior to boarding the train.
As Priscilla said, if you have an e-ticket with a machine-readable code, you don't need anything else -- it will show your train number and departure time, reserved car and seat number. Just get on the train and find your reserved seats --conductor will use a hand-held scanner to read the code from your phone. Same if you have a paper printout showing the barcode.
robertbrown98765, ticket prices depend on where you are going (longer distances cost more), and when you buy (advance purchase is cheaper).
You can look up times and prices, and buy tickets on the Trenitalia (Italian Railways) website: https://www.trenitalia.com/en.html

@dawnash0146, yes your E-ticket is your actual ticket. That is what you have to show to the ticket inspector on the train. Nothing to do before getting on the train.
