Trying to book hi speed train early September from Rome Termini to Bari Centrale round trip. I see no trains listed. I would like to travel both ways before noon departure. Could this be possible?

yes, this is of course going to be possible. The citizens of Bari would be very unhappy, and show it in ways the government can't ignore if their trains would stop running...
Where is it that you see no trains listed? On www.trenitalia.it I see several direct trains on the random day in September I picked. When is your travel day?

I can't find a morning train any other options. The two morning trains are not listed on that specific day, only next day.

You could be searching a little too early. I think that schedule are released 3 months in advance (hopefully someone will correct me if I’m wrong)

I can't find a morning train
Simply pick an early time of travel from the drop down menu, it's next to the departure date box as shown here: https://i.postimg.cc/L64V3ySL/Immagine-2026-04-17-135428.jpg
You should see these trains: https://i.postimg.cc/MTDW0Z03/Immagine-2026-04-17-134804.jpg As you can see I selected 5 AM and the site shows trains departing after.

I still see an 8 am and a 10 am Freccia train from Roma Termini to Bari Centrale every day in September. Perhaps you could share your travel date.
