Anne, it depends on which part of the CT that want to go to and what time you wish to leave. The last train to the CT departs La Spezia at 23:10 and stops at all 5 towns. You can depart a bit earlier at 22:25 but this train does not stop at Manarola, Corniglia or Vernazza. The next earliest train that stops at all 5 towns leaves La Spezia at 21:21. So, if you need to go to the 3 towns mentioned above and you miss the 21:21 train, you have to wait almost 2 hours to catch the last train out.
