I read somewhere (maybe RS) that we need to buy our return tix from Varenna to Como when we arrive in Como buying our tix to Varenna. (Especially if we are leaving early as the place to buy tix is not always open early)
This is because there is no station on Varenna and tix are bought at a travel agency??

You can buy train tickets online 24-7 as etickets.
You may be confusing this with the ferry from Varenna to Como.
while there are two train stations in Como at the foot of Lake Como neither of them are on the same line as Varenna-Esino, the station for Varenna.
You can get your tickets before you get on at your origination station. Is that Milan, or somewhere in Switzerland or where?
