My wife and I are either taking a train from Rome to Naples on one of the latest night trains or earliest morning trains. This is in late May. What are typically the latest and earliest times available? The goal is to get a very early start from Naples.

Trenitalia.com shows a train leaving Roma Termini a little after 6am and arriving in Nspoli Centrale a little after 8am. There are faster trains but they leave Rome and arrive in Naples later in the morning. I didn't check the last departure from Rome, but it will probably get you to Naples too late to connect to anything else.

www.trenitalia.com will show you this information. The train station names are Roma-Termini and Napoli Centrale. For the first trains, enter 00 for the time. For the latest train, enter 18:00 and begin there. You can click on next or "later" to see any later trains.

The last high-speed train from Roma Termini to Napoli Centrale departs at 21:50 and arrives at 23:00. There is an Intercity train that leaves Roma Termini at 22:02 and arrives at Napoli Centrale at 00:05. The first train of the day is a Regionale train that leaves Roma Termini at 05:41 and arrives at Napoli Centrale at 08:20. There is an Intercity train that leaves Roma Termini at 06:39 and arrives at 08:43. The first high-speed train leaves Roma Termini at 07:35 and arrives at Napoli Centrale at 08:45.
