Good Evening - We will be arriving in Genoa on Tues, 9/16 at 12 noon. We will be taking the train from
Genoa to Monterosso that afternoon. Does anyone know if I should go ahead and order regional tickets on line before we leave home? I've heard it can be difficult to buy tickets at the station after arriving, even though I know we would need to use a machine to print the tickets at the station.
Thanks for any insight!
Paula
With a regionale there is no reason to buy in advance at home. Just go to the ticket window or machine. The machines are faster and easier, IMHO. Click the English button and follow the instructions. You can pay cash or use a CC, although not all machines take both so look at the machine first. Once you do it you will realize you had nothing to fear!
