May 7 at Roma Termini, I'd like to take either Frecciarossa Velocita' or EuroStar to Naples. Are trains listed on a board? Any cost difference whether I buy ticket at the window vs. vending machine? (prefer a real person). Same questions for Circumvesuviana. I'm a young grandma, traveling solo, one wheelie bag, 1 large purse. Given comments & past experience with train stations, want to look as "knowledgeable" as possible. Safety/confidence boosters and will be appreciated.
You can buy your tickets from FCO to Termini and Termini to Naples at the airport. There's an ticket counter and a travel agency at the platform where you board the Leonardo Express. I'd suggest buying your tickets to Naples at the airport, but you'll need to purchase the Circumvesuviana ticket at the Naples train station.
