My husband and I purchased train tickets from Venice to Milan but our seats at in 2 diff rows. I went to the website but it is all in Italian. Can I change my seat assignment.?

Depending on the ticket, you might not be able to change it. Travelers are friendly and if ask the person next to you to change seats so you can sit together, they'll usually happily do so.

I will second Philip's suggestion. 90% chance someone will be glad to move for you, and/or there will be an empty seat anyway. Plus it will be a good ice breaker to start a conversation. Enjoy your trip!
