Anyone know what train tickets cost on a day trip to Orvieto (there and back) and to Assisi (there and back)? I am trying to budget train tickets and was curious to see if anyone knew. Also what site can I go to for train schedules for when I will need to be at Termini to go...?

Be sure to click on the "All Trains" tab instead of "Le Freccie" which are the high speed trains. That way you can see all your options. Regionale (local) trains are displayed only one week in advance. Figure out what day of the week you would be traveling, and look at the schedules for that day.
