Train strikes

Hi my husband and I will be traveling g to Italy for the first time Oct 11-20. We have train tickets in the 12 from Rome to Naples. And then from Naples to Rome Oct 17.

I keep hearing about strikes and I have seen a website. If it’s all in Italian and I’m not sure how to understand if we will be affected. Can someone please help me

As ChristineH note, there have been a number of related recent questions and answers on upcoming Sept and October strikes with a number of us affected and trying to figure out what to do. We are getting some very helpful suggestions and links on this thread, :

Also, here is a link to the government strike page that should open in English. https://scioperi.mit.gov.it/mit2/public/scioperi If it isn't in English when you open it, iI think f you use Chrome you should get an option from the browser to translate it. Hope this helps.

Oct 12 strike. Multisector. Does it include buses and ferries? Can anyone confirm?

October 12 strike includes “Personnel of companies carrying out railway activities.”

The strike begins October 12 at 9 pm and ends on October 13 at 8:59pm.
