I have tickets to travel from Lucca to Viareggio on July 10th from11:30 to 11:50 on R18510 and then on to Milan Centrale on intercity 670 from12:00 to 15:33. Can anyone tell me if my trains will be running or how I might find out? Thank you.

I've been in Italy for a bunch of train strikes. Best bet is to go to the station and ask. There always seems to be a way to get there even though it might take longer. Recently there was a strike and we were trying to leave Florence. The trenitalia staffer suggested going earlier than I planned, (good idea) train went to Pisa, we transfered and sat on the next train for an hour until they said "this traiin is deleted" (loved their translation). So got on another train, a little delay but it was fine
