HELP! I will be flying into Milan/Malpensa on Sunday and just learned of a national train strike which was just extended to Trenord. My AirBnd owners says to take a bus to Como and then ferry to Varenna. However, my flight is scheduled to arrive at 10:00 am in terminal 1 and the only buses I see online leave from terminal 2 at 11:20 am or 6:15 pm. Are there other options???

There will be substitute buses replacing the trains from Malpensa Airport to central Milan. From Milan you can take a bus ( i.e. Flixbus). to the town of Como then a ferry from Como to Varenna.
A taxi for about €170 is another option.
