I'm planning on traveling from Padua to Lake Iseo on May 30, and on some sites it says there will be a train strike and on others there is no mention of one (including the Trenitalia website). Does anyone have any up to date information?
"on some sites it says there will be a train strike"...which sites?
I'm seeing something here but could use Roberto, Dario, Laurel or some others of our fluent speakers to tell Katherine whether it's something to be concerned about or not. Google translate is only working to a point! :O)
That's where I saw it as well. Ferroviario to me says train and it's exactly the route I need.
Right, Katherine. Hopefully kicking this post back to the top might stimulate some helpful replies.
You mean txlogistik? It is a freight company and they are going on strike on May 30th at 10pm.
I doubt passengers will be affected by the strike of a private society that manages some freight transport services in Verona.
Ferroviario means Railway Sector, not passengers trains.
And that's why we needed an Italian! :O)
Thanks so much!
