Hello all,
Does anyone know how quickly after a scheduled train strike to normal operations resume? The strike next Tuesday ends at 5pm and we havetickets for 5:50 and I was wondering if that would still work.

It depends if they actually have a train to run. Trains travel between destinations and if a train does not arrive somewhere because of a strike, people at destination may have no train to send back. Also, strikes are almost never complete strikes - some trains still run, some people do not go on strike, this making the problem less difficult to solve; on the other side, trains begin to run again from original starting points, not from intermediate stations so the system is slower to restart from an intermediate station. So, I think that nobody can really answer your question, in any case not with so little informations.
