AI generated info in response to the question "is there a train strike in Italy tomorrrow?"

.There is a 24-hour general strike in Italy affecting all transport sectors, including the railways, on Friday, November 28, 2025. The strike is expected to cause significant disruptions and cancellations, with essential services guaranteed during peak hours (6:00-9:00 and 18:00-21:00) on weekdays. It is recommended to check with your specific train operator for up-to-date information and to see if your train is still running, as many high-speed trains may operate as normal.

Now too late, I know, but we rebooked our 9:40 am Italo train on 11/28 to Naples to 7:40 am the same day. It made it fine to our relief.

It's Trenitalia's Regionale trains that must run before 9 AM and after 6 PM. All of them.

Rebooking an Italo high speed train makes sense only if the 7:40 AM train is on the list of guaranteed trains whereas the 9:40 is not. Otherwise it's just a waste of time, money and sleeping time. I wonder if the % of Italo workers that actually join strikes is big enough to worry so much about it, but that's another story.
