we will be traveling from santa marghertia lingue to milan via genoa by train.
Does anyone know if either or both stations in Genoa have escalators/lifts? I have researched it and find conflicting information. Do to a back problem, we can not carry our suitcases up very many stairs. thank you in advance

Why not take one of the IC trains that go direct from Sant Margherita Ligure to Milan?
Direct Intercity trains at 7:39 and 13:56.
While the web site doesn't specifically say, most stations listed at http://www.grandistazioni.it/content/grandiStazioni/it/le-nostre-stazioni.html are recently renovated, with escalators and elevators among the improvements. Their photo of Genova P. Principe station centers on an escalator.
thank you for the information, it is appreciated. we did see the two IC trains but the one is earlier than we wanted and the other gets in around 4 oclock so we would lose the day. again, thanks for the information.
