Train station in Venice airport?

How do you get from Venice airport to main area of Venice and cost. If there is a train station at airport does it take e-rail pass? If no train station, how do you get to Venice train station from airport. Thank you very much. Suzy

You walk outside the airport and either take a private water taxi or a cheaper slower moving boat (Alilaguna), or you can catch the bus all the way to Piazzale Rome where you can either take a private water taxi or jump on the public boat bus (vaporetto) or just walk to your hotel.

Connie, there is no train station at the Marco Polo airport. There are two different bus lines that stop out front of the airport terminal that will take you to the Piazzale Roma which is a large bus and major public waterbus stop. The Piazzale Roma is on the Grand Canal. The two lines are the ACTV and the ATVO. ACTV is a city bus and I think that the ATVO is a private line. Trip takes just under 25 minutes and the fare is 7Euro. At the Piazalle Roma, you can purchase passes for the vaporettos (public waterbuses). Most likely, you will be taking a vaporetto to the stop where your hotel is located. You can also take the Alilaguna boat from a dock very near the airport terminal. Cost is 15Euro and it will take close to an hour before you get to the Grand Canal area. Also, the Alilaguna boat doesn't stop at every vaporetto stop so you will have to check.
