I assume you didn't check the train schedules. It is easy to do at trenitalia.com. When I checked, it showed a train each hour at :55 for that day. It is only regional trains which means no reservations so there is no point in buying a ticket early. Buy it when you get there. It will be an open ticket that can be used on any regional train so be very sure to validate the ticket PRIOR to getting on. If all seats taken, you stand.
