Does anybody know if the trains run on Sunday from Sorrento to Rome or if it is limited to the milk run and no fast trains?

Thanks- I knew something wasn't right. Does the timetable only work for a couple of months out?

Yes, generally the website only goes a few months out, but searching current schedules gives you a good ideas of what will be available, and generally, they will be the same.
To add to the previous response, the stretch from Naples to Sorrento is a private line, almost more of a Metro line, so will not show on Trenitalia. There will be fast trains from Naples to Rome all days.
