Train question

I bought Trenitalia tickets ahead of time and I know that that is considered the ticket and I don't have to validate it. But one of my train trips will be between Monterosso in Cinque Terre to Rome, through La Spezia. I know my email printout is all I need from La Spezia to Rome, but do I also just need that printout from Monterosso to La Spezia, or do I need another ticket for that regional train? I do notice that it charged me 4 euros for each section on that regional train so I assume that email ticket is still all I need, correct?

When I have purchased tickets and one leg is on a high speed train and the other a regional... all I have needed is my paper emails.

If your ticket lists all your changes, you are good to go.

I pre-purchased a ticket in the opposite direction a couple of years ago and received 2 separate tickets. The e-mail from Trenitalia had 2 pdf files attached, one for the Rome-La Spezia Freccia ticket and another for the La Spezia-Monterosso regional train ticket. Sounds like your e-mail from Trenitalia also had 2 pdf files attached. You will need to print out the Monterosso to La Spezia ticket, which should be pre-validated and good for 4 hours from stated time of departure, and have that available for the conductor.
