Train or bus from Rome to Sorrento?

We will be leaving Rome for Sorrento on June 14th. I read somewhere that you can take a bus from Rome. Is it faster than the train? Where is the terminal? I can't seem to find it on my map of Rome. Does anyone know the bus website? Thanks

You can take the Marozzi bus from the Tiburtina train station to Sorrento. However, the runs are limited to two a day - one at 7:00 and one at 15:00. Only the 15:00 on Sundays.

The train is far more frequent. You can take a high-speed train from Rome to Naples. Then, you go down to the lower level to catch the private Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento. All together about 3.0hrs.

There is also a ferry from Naples to Sorrento but it's slower than the train (it makes interim stops) and you have to get to the ferry docks from the Naples train station.
