Train or Bus from Milano Centrale to Malpensa Airport

On Friday morning 4/28/23, my wife and I need to use public transportation from Milano Centrale train station to Malpensa Airport for a flight home departing at 11:20 AM. An airport shuttle bus is 10 euro and takes about 50 minutes while Trenitalia is 13 euro and takes 51 minutes. We would appreciate any recommendations on bus or train from personal experience. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and ideas.

I'd note that the bus can get stuck in traffic. However, my experience is that sometimes the trains get canceled, so if you chose this option, take the train BEFORE the one you'd initially chose. The airport is mid-size and easy to navigate once you get there.
Safe travels!

Train worked great for us. Runs every 1/2 hour at :25 and :55 and like Pat said, won't get stuck in traffic. People say to get to airport 3 hours ahead, but don't panic if you don't do that. I think we got there a little over 2 hours ahead and didn't feel rushed. Have a great trip!

We were advised to stick to the train, as the bus or a taxi can get stuck in traffic.
The Malpensa Express also runs from Milano Cadorna- so you may be closer to that line than to Centrale.
Both run every 30ish minutes. Cadorna is a bit shorter ride to MPX
We took a train that was 30 min earlier than we thought we'd need and were there in plenty of time.
