Hi. My husband and I will be taking public transportation from Varenna to Cinque Terre. Anyone know what train would be best? The quickest route, if possible.

A bit of further information......
The train from Varenna-Esino to Milano Centrale will be a Regionale so DON'T forget to validate your ticket prior to boarding the train on the day of travel, or you'll risk hefty fines which will be collected on the spot!
Using the schedules for this week, one of the quickest and easiest trips will be a departure from Varenna at 10:37, arriving Riomaggiore at 15:39 (time 5H:02M, two changes at Milano Centrale and Sestri Levante).
