Train from Torino to Paris - Need help

I was on Trenitalia's website a few days ago and saw trains to Paris, which seemed to be reasonably priced, with the fastest train arriving in, I believe, 4.5 hours. I was just online, getting ready to book, and now, the fare has gone up to $259 US and the fastest train is nearly six hours. I am limited Italian language abilities, making it difficult to go to the train station and ask questions. Would appreciate any advice or helping in sorting this out. My departure date is June 29, return date to be decided, but around July 4 or 5. Thanks again!

You cannot book Torino-Paris on the Trenitalia site because TGVs on that route are operated solely by SNCF (French National Rail). Trenitalia doesn't even list them. Book on tgv-europe.com. To keep the site in English and to avoid being bumped to the US Rail Europe site, choose Great Britain as your country of residence. When you are asked if you wish to switch to the UK Rail Europe site, choose to stay with tgv-europe. Even though you'll be able to print your own tickets, choose France as your ticket retrieval country. Here is what I found for 29 June. Travel time ranges from 5hr40min to 6hr30min. 1. Depart at 07:46. Cheapest fare still available is €115.00. 2. Depart at 12:40. Cheapest fare still available is €80.00. 3. Depart at 17:35. Cheapest fare still available is €65.00. For future reference, booking as far in advance as possible (three months on tgv-europe) will get you the lowest fare. For Torino-Paris that's €25.00.

Wow Tim, Thank you! So appreciate your taking the time to research and get back to me. I had heard of the 25E fare; quite a deal! Good to know it's for booking 2-3 months in advance. Will have to keep it in mind for future reference. Thanks again!
